Are you thinking of visiting Nagashima Spa Land? The best hot spring onsen hotel to stay in would be HANAMIZUKI. It is right next to the amusement park. You can roll out of bed and enter the amusement park through a special entrance, and you can buy discounted tickets buy purchasing in a package along with reservations to the hotel. This may depend on your method of purchase, however. Many hot spring onsen hotels are old-fashioned and rundown. HANAMIZUKI is not at all. It is modern and well-maintained, while you can enjoy the atmosphere of traditional Japan. You can tell about the upkeep by going to the hot spring onsen. There are 7 to 9 different hot spring onsens you can dip in, many of them are outdoors, and they all have unique characteristics. When you look around the onsen, and at the high roofs of the indoor onsens, you will notice that there is not a speck of dust or uncleaned area (which you can spot in many rundown places). The food was a mix of traditional Japanese and fancy Western fusion. The multi course meal was served in the fancy ballroom. HANAMIZUKI’s staff was super friendly and accommodating. If you can stay two nights and play at NAGASHIMA SPA LAND a couple of days, that would be ideal. Don’t forget to visit the NABANA NO SATO illumination park at night. Or you can spend a day at NAGASHIMA SPA LAND and go on to nearby NAGOYA where there are tons of things to see and experience. Either way, HANAMIZUKI is a luxurious hotel while experiencing that area. @TravelWhiskers @TastyWaterOM
