Taxi costs $250 USD from Narita into Tokyo — forget about THAT and take metro ( cheaper if near your hotel) or the easy Airport Limousine Bus.

  1. Much easier than getting one of three different trains which all arrive at different stations.

  2. I have heard that Japanese taxis are horrifically expensive! I wonder how long the buses last at night though? If one arrived very late, perhaps there would be no choice but to get a taxi?

  3. Have you ever taken the Super Shuttle when traveling domestically? They have the craziest drivers. 😄

  4. Thanks, this my come in handy if I will fly to Narita. Still hoping to get a cheap flight to Haneda, it is so much closer to the city. Great video 🙂

  5. Hi Sheila – Thanks so much for these details! I will be traveling alone to Tokyo – my first time to Japan – and I don't speak the language. Your video has made me feel much more comfortable about how to handle getting from the airport to my hotel.

  6. Hi Sheila, If I buy a round trip ticket can I come back from a different hotel (both are on the route), ie. Narita airport to Sunshine city prince hotel then come back from ana intercontinental to Narita airport?

  7. Sheila.. important to add that their HOURS are very limited.. 8 am to last bus around 5:30 pm.. pretty bad!
