Hotel INDIGO Hakone Gora is located in HAKONE area, one of the most famous hot springs resort in Japan. HAKONE is about one hour trip from Tokyo area by train. So it is very popular and there are many hotels and Japanese style “Ryokan” around Hotel INDIGO as well. Hotel INDIGO is placed near by river and you can enjoy riverside scenery from riverside rooms.
The public area is carefully designed in sophisticated colors, fabrics, materials, and many artworks. The style of design is modern, but it’s still in a very organic and natural style that provides us relaxing experience.
Riverside rooms have a private open-air bath on the balcony. The hotel also has hot springs SPA in the public area, but I think a private bath is very nice for spending a relaxing holiday in the room.
