Tips and Tricks for Arriving at Ho Chi Minh Airport

In this video, I share my tips and tricks for arriving at Ho Chi Minh Airport (SGN) in Vietnam. I cover everything from how to clear customs and immigration to how to get into the city center. I also share some tips on how to experience the local culture, including how to cross the street, try some delicious food, and get a massage.

Here are some of the specific tips I share in the video:

Arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight to give yourself plenty of time to clear customs and immigration.
Be aware of pickpockets and other petty theft, especially in crowded areas like the airport.
Use the Grab app to book a taxi or ride-share from the airport to the city center.
Try some of the delicious street food in Ho Chi Minh City. Be sure to bargain for the best price!
Get a massage at one of the many affordable spas in the city.
Check out the vibrant nightlife in Ho Chi Minh City. There are bars and clubs to suit everyone’s taste.
I hope this video helps you plan your trip to Ho Chi Minh City!

  1. Love your vlogs and especially your insights and tips. (I watched your JP vlogs before I vacay'd in Tokyo last April.) Your voices here are inaudible and incoherent though 😢
