FIJI – We’re on a cruise with Captain Cook Cruises to Fiji’s remote Lau Islands. Along with scenery, one of the best reasons to go on a cruise is for the food, so today I’m showing you a few of the delicious meals!

1. Tivua Island, Fiji
For our first meal we met with Head Chef Jackson from Captain Cook Cruises and we took a small boat to a private island. Unfortunately it was a little windy and rainy, but that didn’t stop us from having a local Fijian meal including Kokoda – raw fish in lime and coconut milk.

2, Indian Food Buffet
The next day we sailed to Makogai Island known for its history and colony. But on the cruise it also happened to be Indian buffet day.

3. Staff Meal
Not only do all the guests on Captain Cook Cruises eat well but so do the staff. One day I was invited to eat the staff meal on a day they ate a dish called Sui, which literally translates to Meaty Bones.

We ate a lot of food on Captain Cook Cruises, from morning to night, buffets and a la carte. It was an incredible experience.

  2. The cruise ship dishes are almost similar to south indian dishes but looks less masala spicy, fijian version.

  3. Mark, that food looks so amazing! This is my type of food! I didn't know that Fiji had this kind of intensely delicious types of curries. That fish and rice I can really go for now.

  4. Eating that much Chilies 🌶️ will most certainly overshadow the true flavors of these amazing dishes. I love ‘heat’ on most things but I don’t subscribe to this method. Love your channel Mark.

  6. I cannot believe this guy has 10 million subscribers. All he says is "Oh wow" over and over again and he has virtually no culinary expertise whatsoever. He makes a mockery of gastronomy.

  7. Mark made everything sound good. Fish with lemon grass..thai and laos have the best recipe. Lemon grass, celentro, green onions, thAI chilli, salt, and msg….best EVER!

  8. These food total sri Lankan dishes. Made by coconut milk. Can imagine how it taste. ☺️
