Hello Happy Travelers!!

Welcome to Galveston, Texas for the grand opening of Royal Caribbean’s newest cruise terminal! This cruise terminal was built to accommodate large Oasis class ships, such as Allure of Seas, now sailing from Galveston as of today! This terminal is also extremely eco friendly by being completely powered via solar, and the first zero energy terminal in Texas! In this video we want to take you around and give you a full tour of this new terminal!

  1. Is this in the same part of town as the old port? Like I’m guessing it’s right next to the old one?

  2. We also were able to be one of the first to go through the terminal and sail on Allure! We left last Wednesday and came back Sunday, 13th. The terminal is awesome and I love the facial recognition cameras!

  3. Me and my wife was there for that same cruise on the Allure. The new terminal was awesome. And the whole process of getting through was fast and smooth. One of the best parts of going on this cruise is I got to send my 3 daughters the Glen Campbell song “Galveston”. Been wanting to do that for years. 😂😂👍👍

  4. I wish this had been open when I went on my cruise in October. It's 1000% better than the building we had to use to board.

  5. I live in Sugar Land, which like Galveston is a suburb of Houston. I’m so glad we have cruise ports 30 mins from home. Its makes cruising really easy.

  6. Hello
Where is a good covered parking lot closest to this terminal that you would recommend?
    Thanks

  7. This answered all my questions about parking, arriving and departure and the waiting area. Perfect! Thank you.

  8. Thank you for providing details on the different areas to check in, based on club and anchor status and reserved cabin type. Truly one of the best overview videos out there.

  9. Hi! Are you able to drop off guests at the terminal and get a wheel chair for folks that cannot walk long distances?

  10. Just returned from Allure in Galveston. It was wild getting on and off. The worst part is taxis and Ubers do not want to take you from your hotel to the ship. They only want to do ship to airport. They just ignore or don’t show up to help you we had to hitch a ride to the ship. Maybe when there’s more competition it will improve but I could have been watching my ship sail away.

  11. Question: will they check you in before 10 and let you relax in waiting area until boarding opens? Our driver is dropping us off early, so they can pu disembark group at same time.

  12. Time for a video showing the Norwegian Prima in it's port! Which port terminal is the Prima at? Why are all the videos and pictures of the Galveston TX cruise ports showing nothing but Carnival and Royal Caribbean?

Come on content providers get out there with NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE content!

  13. So how do you get to the terminal, is there a ferry you have to take? If you're flying what's the closest airport. Interested in booking with RC

  14. Thank you so much for this wonderful review. I’m booking my cruise via casino invitation. But not familiar with the area. If I fly in the day before, should I stay in Houston or Galveston? Any recommendations?

  15. Hey is it possible to drop off luggage before actually parking your car in the parking area? If so, how is that done – where exactly would your car be when dropping off luggage?
