Have you ever tried riding on the baby buses of Cavite City?
This iconic mode of transportation – a cross between a jeepney and a mini-bus – started in the mid-1960s and continue to transport thousands of commuters daily between Zapote and Cavite City. It has padded seats and wooden backrest, padded ceiling and plastic glass windows, decorated side panels and fancy stainless body decorations.
To celebrate the 82nd charter anniversary of Cavite City, we took the baby bus to visit the many heritage and cultural attractions of this former capital of the province of Cavite. We were also able to sample some of its famous food offerings and also got to watch the activities during the anniversary celebration.
Join us as we taking this nostalgic trip to Cavite City by baby bus!

  1. Its really sad that Porta Vaga wasnt restored to its former glory and I just hope that the LGU together with the Dept.of Tourism will make effort to somehow preserve it
