  1. So you don’t scan your ticket until you’re at your train seat? That’s pretty interesting. Is it otherwise unreserved seating, and then by scanning your ticket at your seat, you’re basically declaring “This one is mine?” Or does this enable an attendant to bring goodies right to your seat? It’s a neat concept, whatever the details, although installing all those scanners must be an additional cost.

  2. Is the whole country immaculately clean? Everywhere you go seems very sanitary and clean. My wife is on the fence about a vacation. These videos are making her want to go to Japan

  3. Why does it end thereeeeee… I really love the scenery at hitachi stationnnn… You should prolong the videoooosssss… At least after sunset….

  4. Joban Line <3 Lived in Matsudo back in 2006, used to ride the rapid Joban Line into Ueno every day. 😀 Memories 😀

Bises

  6. Here in Madrid, Spain some of regional commuter trains (known as Cercanías) are two decked and yes, it's so comfy to move on the area.
Is easy to access and the configuration here is 3+2 and in the middle can be also have compartment configuration and go facing passengers.
The only thing we do not have is curtains, much less a table to work or eat on the train.
We can say that we have the train but I do not remember if we even have a plug (I doubt it is USB) to charge the mobile or laptop.
Luckily, the Greater Madrid area covered by Cercanías is much more smaller than Tokyo 😅

  7. Wow! this time it was truly an exclusive episode with carriages and horses in the beginning, and dreamy views from the station window. 😍
Thank you very much for this. 🙏

  8. Not you tempting fate with that Skynet quip 😂😅 Also, I like how you can pay the Green car fee with your SUICA (et. al) after taking a seat on that particular train, too! A really neat feature!

  11. I like the door mechanism on the Green car that you have to open yourself, less noise from station if noone is getting on/off.

Sergio São Paulo BR

  13. What a wonderful gem you posted. Splendid Pomp , more lovely trains , treats with that incredible views and a cafe for dessert .Thanks !

  14. The station on the sea was like a futuristic indoor beach. Can only look but not safe to touch.

  15. I watched a lot of these Japanese train/travel videos on YouTube. As a Canadian I am so impressed a the Japanese train system for their cleanliness, scheduling and convenience. I am so envious, Canadian trains are a pale comparison.

  17. I have no desire to visit Tokyo but I did enjoy all that you showcased for us, especially the beautiful horses. I would've purchased several bento boxes because I wouldn't have been able to choose just one cute bento container lol. Those potato salad sticks really do look addicting. Every noodle dish you get past and present always look so filling and ono. Enjoyable video today. Thank you.

  19. 0:48 Hachikō, the dog that gave you the Hachi movie. He was a very good boy.
Interesting fact, there are 4 statues currently in existence, 3 in Japan (one shown where the original was initially put and is the oldest of the 4), one in the USA at Woonsocket station in Rhode Island where the film was made.

  20. Lol, I was rock, too! 😂 And when i see robots, I always think about The Terminator.

  21. Very cool shots of Tokyo station. I’ve only see it from straight on in other channels but your shots gave perspective.
