It’s time to leave Tokyo and head to our next stop: Kyoto! We will ride there in STYLE on one of Japan’s EPIC bullet trains! We’ve even treated ourselves to an upgrade from regular class to first class, AKA green class. Let’s see if it’s worth the upgrade, and do we spot any Geishas in Kyoto?

  1. Thanks for this wonderful video n for showing your bullet train ride from Tokyo to Kyoto. D Kyoto city is so quaint, charming n beautiful.

  2. I think two of you are very lucky to see geisha and maiko in Kyoto. Sakura at Kyoto looks really great.
By the way, if you could try ekiben bento box again, I recommend you to eat beef domanaka bento from Yamagata prefecture. Their beef and rice taste really good too. Next coming new Yamagata shinkansen also looks cool.

  3. So interesting to follow you on that futuristic train ride. They say trains here in Switzerland are punctual, but they don't even come NEAR Japanese punctuality! The bento boxes were pretty, but they don't even come NEAR the one I got from A & V as a gift 💝 Thanks for taking us along in Kyoto, such a beautiful town and I'm über happy that you actually came to see two geishas 😊

  4. Great vlog‼️ I recommend you guys watch the Oscar winning movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" when you get a chance.

  5. If you want to ride bullet trains, you need to head over to China. They have bullet trains that literally wraps around the world.

  6. as someone commented, you are so lucky to catch both geisha and maiko. maiko's kimono outfit is more eye-catchy and i love them😍😍 they are still young and dependent and live with their trainer? house but geisha is more matured and can live their own life. we can tell the difference by hair design and obi belt style❤ anyway you are lucky to capture both in one scene.🎉🎉🎉

  7. I just wanted to know, are you posting once a week? I miss my super frequent 2passport fix (but I understand that it's not easy to make and publish vids multiple times a week)

  8. Again, thank you guys for sharing your really interesting experiences! Keep it going and have all the fun for the rest of us who cannot travel right now.

  9. A few weeks ago, I traveled by Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo in economy class and found it to be a fairly pleasant experience. However, I was somewhat taken aback by the minimal disparity between economy and the "Green class." A cursory online search revealed that a one-way fare from Tokyo Station to Shin-Osaka Station costs JPY13,870 for a non-reserved seat and JPY14,520 for a reserved seat, while a Green Car seat would set you back JPY19,590. A trip from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station costs JPY13,320 for a non-reserved seat and JPY13,970 for a reserved seat. Additionally, I'm surprised you weren't directed to the back of the carriage where there is more room for luggage, given that I had the same Northface bags as you.
Keep it up Adriana and Dylan – lI am ooking forward to your adventures in Japan – and then maybe South Korea? 🙂

  10. My recent discovery channel. Some interesting content. The Limey guy (Dylan?), I find him typical of narrow-minded and know-it-all Brit type whenever he makes a comment while Adriana seems very diplomatic and pleasant. I have been to Japan heaps of times and discovered new (pleasant) new things every time. Stay open-minded, this is not UK you visit. Hope you have learned something by now.
