We visited @MarkWiens Restaurant, Phed Mark, in Bangkok, Thailand! We tried the SPICIEST dish on the menu and one of the spiciest Thai dishes. Mark Wiens is known for his love is SPICY food and iconic facial expressions! This restaurant specializes in the famous Thai Holy Basil Stir Fry dish (Pad Kra Pao) with different vegetarian and meat options. Each dish has different levels of spice and since we are huge spicy fans we wanted to try the LEVEL 5 Spice! #PhedMark #SpicyFoodChallenge #Bangkok

  2. "mark" sounds close to the Thai word "mak" which means "very". so Phed Mark=very spicy …and of course Mark is his name.

  3. Tropically, the stir fried with chicken basil + fried egg is only 40-50 Baht in the common food court around Thailand

  4. โอ้ว!!!!!! มายก็อดดดดด U. เก่งกล้า มาก ท้องใส้ คุณปกติดีหลังจากทานเผ็ด รึเปล่า เป็นห่วงครับ เดินทางปลอดภัยครับ

  5. The spiciest thing I have ever eaten was something I actually made for my spice-loving fiance a few months ago. I really did not mean to make it so spicy. But I made a tomato-based sauce with Hungarian chilis and some Mexican chilis I had leftover, mixed it with Turkish spicy chilis we had gotten from an outdoor market and some normal Spitzpaprika, and then added pasta and spicy Kielbasa. It was great, but almost too much for me to eat. I managed to get through it though. My fiance said it was the best thing I ever made for him.

  6. Thank you both
who like to try Thai food
    Stir-fried basil as food
    Main dish of Thai people
    Foreigners mistakenly thought that
    Thai people eat Pad Thai.
    Panaeng Beef Tom Yum Kung
    as a staple food.

  7. I love your food vlogs and I'm always looking forward for the next clip. But I would also like to see more films about the country, culture and people. Im planning a trip to Bali and enjoyed your videos very much because you show us the island and its beauty, not only the food. But that's complaining on a high level. Greetings from Wiesbaden.

  8. Everyone loves Padgrapao. I like your Mark Wiens-like facial expression as you tried the Phed-Mark Spicy level. Thank you for the nice content. 😁😁😁

  9. I've never eaten spicy Thai but have eaten Indian Vindaloo. If you have had both,, how does the spiciness compare?

  10. Hmm the Spiciest ones for me was Original Isan Som Tam Plara , or Gaeng Tai Pla from the South in Thailand😉😎😎😎

  11. Mark Wiens ? Ich sehe, das ganze S ATA-n isten (K.I.Künstliche Intelligenz) Pack ist mit einander verbunden….

  12. Red chilli just for garnish you don't have to chew it. Just leave it in the plate. 😉🥵🤭

  13. Thai food is definitely one of the 'meaner' kinds of spicy. It doesn't hit you immediately…but boy, when it does it can be devastating😂😂👍
My 'spiciest' experience was on a bus trip from Bangkok to Surrathani. The trip included a meal, and so we stopped at a petrol station of sorts in the middle of the night. We got served a bowl of dried fish and a plate of red and green vegetables along with some rice. The fish was uneatable, so i went for the 'vegetables' and the rice…yup, it wasn't common vegetables, it was chillies…my mouth was still burning a little when we reached Kho Phangan the next day.😂🤦🤷

  14. You 2 are too much fun. I like the way Phil says it's not too hot but his face is turning red. The hottest food I've ever had was an Indian curry that was red. I'm Korean so I can take a lot of heat but that was too much.

  15. OMG, I dont mind spicey but if its burning your mouth how can you enjoy the food lol. Nice video. Thanks and take care.
