In this video we will show the impact of tsunami on the city of Hacinohe on northen parth of Japan, in Aomori prefecture after the earthquake in 2011. Thank you for watching, like and subscribe our channel.
I remember watching the waves hit on live TV. I was (and still am) in Tokyo, and remember running around my apartment and catching things as they fell during the quake. As bad as the tsunami was, others in the past were much greater. In Kamakura (near Tokyo), there are markers showing how far tsunamis washed into the town over the last 1200 or so years, and the highest of these waterlines is higher than most of the city today. Needless to say, everyone who lives along the coast has an evacuation plan, and usually higher ground is not far away.

حقيقة اعصار التورنادوا : هو في الاساس رباني ومن غضب الله الجبار ومن شدته انه اذا مر على نهر شقه نصفين ورفع قاعه الطيني وذر ترابه في الهواء وكذلك يقتلع البنايات والبيوت والاشجار ومن ثم رميها في مكان بعيد مهما كانت ثقيلة وعظيمة ويحمل الجسور والقناطر والخزانات الكبيرة ويدور بها وكانها عود ثقاب ويلفها كالمروحة من شدة قوته العنيفة ويحمل معه الحيوان والانسان الى عنان السماء ثم يلفظه خارج الغلاف الجوي او الكرة الارضية وكانها عملية تفريغ اي شفط نحو الفضاء الخارجي مما يتسبب بخسائر مادية جسيمة وهائلة تقدر بتريليونات الدولارات وهذا غيظ من فيض وهذا بعض ما يجري في امريكا

I used to live in Oirase…. My house was destroyed in that tsunami. I still occasionally have nightmares about it.
In the hachinohe footage, that white ship actually wound up sitting on top of the pier. there was damage well inland from the port as well. I remember a specific convenience store I used to visit right there around the port was wiped out completely.
Its a great shame we haven’t found a way to use the vast amounts of energy that these events create, it would be enough energy to power the whole planet..I’m sure one day
I just wanted to say that your videos are always very informative and interesting to watch! Its interesting to see how the Tsunami behaves differently at each location….some Towns got smashed and everything obliterated…and then this beautiful town was saved because of its unique features on the coastline… I'm still saying silent prayers for everyone in Japan that was affected by this Tsunami..can't believe that it has been 11 years!! I pray that Japan will never ever have such a devastating Tsunami again! Lots of positive thoughts and vibes and prayers from Tennessee!! 💗🙏

I remember waking up to alarms in Hawaii. Ironically I had initially lived on mainland america so I thought “oh fuck a tornado.” Which I quickly questioned myself as tornadoes are very unlikely in Hawaii and soon realized it’s a tsunami from the TV and panic if my neighbors thankfully there was very limited damage as the waves were not as horrific as Japan had dealt with
@5:51 I know its stupid to write this but everytime I always watch this video of the tsunami overflowing this harbor it always reminds me of a chocolate waterfall and I start getting a craving for chocolate for some reason?🤷
And the waves were at a glancing angle on the shoreline and it did that much damage. Think if the waves hit the shoreline directly straight on the damage could have been a lot worse.

It has become abundantly clear to me that it is an impossible ask to get to see ONE video that actually shows footage of this or the 2004 tsunami that we are actually able to see the waves…. I would understand if these people were having to run to get to higher ground while filming…. But no they are stationary and are incapable of filming with out making every person that gets motion sick want to vomit…. I understand it’s stressful and scary…. Well if you are scared then DONT FUCKING PULL OUT YIUR PHONE AND FILM … I have come to the conclusion that the same people can’t work their cameras here are the same people that take pictures of big foot and are incapable of the concept of focus! I mean there are some ignorant people here in Texas but they are still able to take incredible video of tornadoes while standing in 50/60 mph winds …. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for a human that isn’t moving, there is negligible wind and yet I have yet to find a video (and I have watched a ton) where I actually see the tsunami ….. it’s like they are using their phone like a magic 8 ball…. I’m sorry and I know it’s hella devastating but if you are going to film then post on you tube maybe learn how to use a camera 🤷🏻♀️
They make you watch A small picture in picture where all the action happens sitting against a huge map that just sits there and does nothing this is a terrible format.
3:54 – The man who shot the video from this precarious little structure atop the tsunami gate was extremely lucky the water didn't get any higher than it did. His video is scary regardless, but had the tsunami been stronger here, neither he or his video would ever have been seen again.

I worked in Hachinohe for a year and it's a wonderful city. Glad to see it didn't suffer much loss of life.

I could never live near to the coast in a country prone to tsunamis after watching videos of the 2011 Japanese Tsunami.
The unstoppable violence that was inflicted on Japanese coastal communities was the most incredible thing I ever saw in my lifetime.
The only safety is to be far from the coast or on very high ground.
