This was the end of the first day in Ehime, Shikoku. The actual Dogo Onsen, hot spring, is under renovation until 2025. The hot spring itself was found over 1500 years ago. As for the building, there is limited information but it did go under full renovation in 1890.
Definitely make it one of your stops if you’re in the Ehime area.
About Us:
I have always loved looking for places in Japan to explore and enjoy during the weekends. But most channels, in Japan, spend too much time talking about things that are self-explanatory. I wanted to make this channel to give you a sample of places where you can go with your dogs. Talk about the plus sides and negative sides of the place. Pointers and tips when you get there. Then you can go out and enjoy those places as well. Sometimes, I even like to add cooking and baking items to our videos.
Along the ride will be our 3 retriever dogs, Bobbi, Lily, and Lucy. They just love going out, seeing the world and hiking Japan’s beautiful trails. It seems every year, more and more places are catering to dog families. Letting our dogs go on these adventures helps them, as well as us, with building a lifestyle that is rewarding.
Come along with us as we travel around Japan and finding these little gem areas and making friends along the way.
