In this video, I walk around and show you the Sapporo snow festival 2023, in Hokkaido, Japan.

This is the 73rd snow festival held in Sapporo, Japan 2023.

This year two areas are open between 4th February to 11th February 2023.

– Odori Park, located next to the Sapporo TV Tower.
– Susukino for the Susukino Ice World 2023.
– Tsudome area was closed for the Sapporo snow festival 2023.

I travelled from Tokyo station to Hakodate on the Shinkansen using a Japan rail pass. Stayed overnight in Hakodate Shin station at Toyoko hotel and then took the train to Sapporo station.

Then to get back to Tokyo I booked a Japan Airline Japan Explorer Pass ticket.

I stayed at an Airbnb in Sapporo called Erimo apartment, located in Hiragishi, Sapporo.
