  1. very nicely researched! also I hope you get to enjoy the Hayabusa going to shin hakodate to experience 320 kph! Apparently they're testing a new train, the alfa-x that will go 360 kph to sapporo and be operational by 2030!

  2. Just got back from Japan 🇯🇵 So miss their trains and everything else!!! It’s all just remarkable.

  3. Welcome to Japan! I'm really happy that you're visiting our country and also looking forward to watching your next video in Japan. What's your next plan? BTW, please note that you should take off your shoes when you use footrest which is be turned over. But don't worry, many of us don't know that. Enjoy your time!! (*´▽`*) Oh, I do recommend you to visit "Oshino Hakkai" where is one of world heritage, there are very beautiful 8 ponds, water from Mt. Fuji, in Yamanashi prefecture.

  4. Yes, Welcome to Japan my Home Country. I am From Shizuoka Prefecture, but currently living In America. So I want to go back to Japan so badly

  5. Awesome video! Another bucket-list journey for me… With all your journeys, have you considered publishing a 'coffee-table' photo book…? You've made some interesting / exhotic journeys, esp in recent months… I suspect it might do rather well

  6. 5:08 You were warned to stay behind the yellow line when filming…
You better be more careful when filming on platforms, as trains in Japan often use emergency breaks even in cases foreigners don't find it to be dangerous.

  7. I'm so happy you had a chance to go to Japan and make some videos on their remarkable trains. Great job!

  8. We took the Kyoto-Hiroshima, and Kyoto-Odawara-Tokyo route back in 2018. Kodama felt like suffering compared to Hikari/Sakura express 😀
The Kodama was still the N700, but the S was not yet introduced then 🙂 Maybe next year! 🙂

  9. Excellent video! Glad you’re having such a good time in my former home. Nobody pushes the Railpass to its limits like you!!

  10. Small mistake at the start. It's not "new shinkansen" it's just "Sinkansen" "New main line" and I hope you seen the great documentary of the origins of the high speed line in Japan by NHK

  11. Finally the premier high speed network.also you are supposed to take off your shoes when you use the inner side of the footrest.

  12. I work in Ashford (Kent) … I often watch the Eurostar trains thunder past on the by-pass tracks at 185mph … wosh and they are gone!! Similar situation at Stratford Intl too. I also enjoy watching the scenary fly past when travelling on the Southeastern High Speed trains at a slightly more sedate 140mph. However, my favourite is the Shanghai Maglev, I travelled on it in 2010, 268mph is the top speed, the landscape goes past with panache! (You'd love it too!!)

  13. Great video, as always.
Personally the train interior did not impressed me. It a has a bit of a 70's airplane vibe, especially with the smal windows but, although interior design is importan the smooth and quiet ride, the comfortable seats, the cleanliness, the punctuation and the frequency are far more important and the were top notch. Amazing service.

  14. 9:03-Actually, if one's coming from a foreign country and is travelling in Japan by rail, one should be using the Japanrail Pass.

Been to Japan 2 times, and managed to try shinkasen. Superb n nice train. Great sharing mate 💕

  16. Those Japanese bullet trains are so smooth, beautiful and very fast. I would like to go to Japan and to ride on them. They look really nice.

  17. If i saw well in Japan has a normal gauge? or somewhere else i read that in Japan has a narrow gauge what is most interest how can they are operate high speed trains in a narrow gauge line…

  18. Awesome video! Taken the Shinkansen a few times, and always different lines. Thoroughly enjoy it always. 10/10 experience. I want to take it on the highest-speed portion up north and to Hokkaido through the Seikan Tunnel when I next get a chance. Would recommend taking the Yurikamome line in Tokyo if you get a chance! It's super unique.

  19. EXCELLENT…….honestly ….this one's gonna linger around. GOOD JOB… buddy. Keep it coming😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

  20. Si fuera posible detenerse y hacer foco por unos segundos en los códigos QR así también podemos sentirnos mas participes del viaje y de la informacion que hay en el tren y en varios otros lugares. Gracias por el viaje 🇺🇾
