Japan is full of amazing train stations. Today I visited Umi-Shibaura Station, in Kanagawa prefecture, which was voted one of the 100 Greatest Stations in Kanto. Unexplored by most foreign tourists, it’s been trending on Japanese TV, so I had to travel here. Known as ‘the station you can’t exit’ or ‘the station passengers can’t leave’, as there is no access by car or foot for normal people. The JR station is meant to be used just by Toshiba employees, but its unique location and sights make it a fun little trip from Yokohama or Tokyo. More than a little bit inspired by train YouTuber @Geoff Marshall, I hope you enjoy!
