The Grizzly is a wooden roller coaster located at California’s Great America in Santa Clara, California. The ride was designed by Curtis D. Summers and manufactured by Kings Island Construction. It uses traditional tracks with steel wheels on the cars, and, therefore, is designed to maintain positive-g loading on the cars and riders throughout its course.

They need to RMC this thing, before the park closes forever.
I live in the bay area and I've ridden The Grizzly several times, mostly in the late 80's and early 90's. Sort of a bumpy ride if memory serves correctly. I actually prefer The Demon better…😁💯
Boring ride

Hmmm it's about time for a CGA trip. It's very unique that this park has 2 wooden coasters also.
I had the feeling that it was true that California’s great America is closing.
Why is this ride still open?
I always wanted to own my own amusment park. If I coroud funded to create a park of historic rides and some star attractions would anybody donate? Ide try to get Gridley, goldstriker, or demon when the park closes. I bet with a retrack and some reprofileing grizzled could be a good ride. Although ide love to get gold striker or demon. Most likely ide want gold striker.
ew! grizzly sucks!!!!!!!!
