This video starts at Apple Store in Shibuya and we are walking to another Apple Store in Omotesando through Harajuku. There is a huge park called Yoyogi Park and when we get there, we are performing a comparison test of the ultra wide lens under extreme low light.

Trivia: I didn’t really see a huge improvement on the ultra wide lens but that doesn’t mean I was very disappointed. Good thing about it is that it has very little lens flare comparing to the normal main lens. Although it’s a 12MP camera (the normal main camera has upgraded to 48MP though), it does a good job even at night if used under a lot of lights such as neon lights.

  1. Thanks for the video 👍🏻

Interestingly, much less annoying lens flares with the ultra wide lens. The normal and zoom lenses seem to have worse flaring than the 13 pro. A shame.

  2. Less lens flare than the other lenses but still blown out highlights and a glow around lamps

  3. I use the Sony experia a111 and the picture is better than any apple phone. Just my opionion. Thanks for the awesome tour!

  4. I really believe that you could have gotten a much better LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE with the ultrawide lens if you were shooting 4K 24 frames per second. 4K 60fps is much too fast for a 2.2 aperture in very low light conditions. I would love to see this exact same test at 4K 24 frames per second. You should also consider 4K 24 frames per second in low light shooting ProRes as well. ProRes will give you slightly better dynamic range performance..!

  5. Hi, I have a question. Did you get strange lens flare issues during night video recording? Great footage anyway😊

  6. As far as I know,Almost all cell’s (not only IPhone)Visio set are produced by SONY👍,more than 30% parts of IPhone are made in Japan 👍👍
