this area which is considered relatively dangerous compare to other parts of japan ,Japan generally is one of the safest countries in the world ,and as you can see in this video at 3 in the morning ,looks very safe and fun to explore, However sometimes here and there some crimes happens here ,but nothing tonight 😁
I'll be honest… Tokyo looks like a miserable place.
The amount of banners and ads is just insane, this place looks like a giant tv ad constantly trying to sell you something. And judging by the youth in the video it doesn't seem like its any different from any other western country,. They throw trash on the ground, they talk loudly and don't seem to care about their surroundings unlike what the Japanese stereotype makes you believe.
I think that while the low crime rate could have something to do with the Japanese mentality, it could also be because the streets are incredibly lit up by all the banners and ads and because there are a lot of people around even at 3am which makes it difficult for criminals to avoid having any witnesses at all. so pity crime is almost none existent.
Either way I can't imagine how much energy is needed to power all those ads and banners… Just to think Tokyo is trying to be "green". This is honestly insane. the whole city looks like an entertainment zoo for foreigners. Also why are there so many people just standing around for no apparent reason?.. just random loners standing in random places or walking back and forth?
They look like NPCs lol.
Nothin about this even seemed remotely dangerous lol goes to show how safe Japan usually is
Not a lot of people wearing masks which is surprising considering the culture
A very "dangerous" dreamworld, lol 😀 3 on the morning and full with life .
Did that man in the beginning say “Z6 man, I have one too”? as in a Nikon Z6?
@28:34 @_@
As a foreigner what you should be careful in Kabukicho and to an extend in Ikebukuro are the touts and the rip-off bars. It is very easy to be a victim of these in Japan as a foreigner. Do not engage with the touts AT ALL, do not even say "no" or "no thanks". They will lead you to bars or host/hostess clubs saying everything is pretty cheap like 5 beers 500 yen etc but the bill will be 50.000-100.000 yen and if you refuse they will harass you and won't let you go. You might even get beaten. Many people lost their savings on this scheme. Rest of the crimes aren't really targeted towards the foreigners and are more dangerous for Japanese locals I think. And if you do not have video or voice recording of the low prices you were told, going to police won't help at all as by Japanese law you will be told that they cannot interfere with private commercial dispute. Also good luck on recovering the money, that money is lost… Yakuza won't even mind you most of the time and weirdly enough some of them are super friendly actually. I had a discussion with one in a bar before, he was a very interesting person. So a yakuza wouldn't really confront you out in the open at all, the only thing would be to enter a yakuza owned rip off bar.
Hangure though if you ask me is more dangerous than Yakuza these days.
I still can sense the power of Kiryu lol
Starting at 21:55 is the most dangerous spot, like in ALL big cities around the world when they group up watch your back. They sure target Asians here in the USA in the big cities.

Why are people laying in the common areas? I didn’t they they had homeless?
Only thing I hated while in Tokyo was the subway stops around 12/1am. Otherwise it's a great place!
Most dangerous zone? Serious? What the hazard there? Be forced to listen j-pop???
I was not aware that this area was a dangerous zone. I was just walking around and I met a lady by chance and I invited her to have a drink as she could speak broken English. Later I invited her to my hotel and she gladly accepted my invitation. Next morning as she was planning to leave I offered her some money but she got very annoyed. I profusely apologized and we parted company with a promise to meet again. Do I consider myself lucky!!!
That song at 7:35 is bangin
8:39 the poor guy at the right wanted to talk to the girls but they didnt even pay attention to him lmfao. I feel his pain
Dangerous in what Way?
I was in Germany in 1967 and the feeling of knowing that you are safe is unbelievable. In the US I never feel safe late at night.
Dangerous?? LOL. Walk in some of the hoods I used to patrol in the Central Valley in Cali. Most dangerous thing I saw here was people not paying attention while on their cell phones.
Where are my fellow Yakuza (videogame) enjoyers?
