宮城春の風景 桜名所 白石川堤一目千本桜/This is famous as a cherry blossoms viewing in Miyagi prefecture with beautiful Japanese landscape, Shiroishi River Hitime-Senbonzakura and Night Cherry Blossoms Lights Up.At Hitome Senbonzakura blooms around the 8.5 km section along the Shiroishi River with over 1,200 cherry Trees.The vicinity of the venue where the Ogawara sakura festival is held, and the landscape of the Zao mountains and cherry blossoms are also famous as shooting spots.During the period when cherry blossoms are blooming, the cherry blossoms are light up at night, and the amazing scenery is very attractive.

宮城県の桜名所として知られる、白石川堤一目千本桜の美しい風景と夜桜ライトアップです。白石川堤の一目千本桜は日本さくら名所百選にも選出されていて、ソメイヨシノやセンダイヨシノなど、約1200本を超す桜が白石川沿い8.5kmの区間一帯に植樹されていて、春にはピンク色の美しい花々を咲かせます。
特に人気となっているのは、JR船岡駅から大河原駅の間となる約3.5km区間で、おおがわら桜まつりを開催するメイン会場付近や、韮神堰付近から眺める桜と蔵王連峰の風景は撮影スポットとしても有名です。
おおがわら桜まつり開催期間中は夜桜のライトアップも行われて、昼間とは違った幻想的な景色がとても魅力的です。
