Catching up with the vlogtober series with our first day in Coron as part of our 3 day trip to Northern Palawan on our post-TBEX tour.

We flew into Busuanga airport from Manila and then transferred to Coron to hike up Mt Tapyas; a 750+ step walk to see a magnificent view over Coron and the surrounding islands. Before a local Filipino dinner, we soaked in the Maquinit Hot Springs; a salty 40º natural bath that was actually incredibly refreshing amongst the tropical heat!

The rest of our trip to Coron will feature island hopping and heaps of snorkelling as we explore the rural Filipino lifestyle!

  1. Haha when you said you need to replenish yourself with water, all I could think of was bear grylls.

  2. Hey Joe New Subscriber Here, Welcome to the Philippines i hope you enjoy staying in our country 🙂 .. can i ask question? if its ok to you. what are your thoughts about the Philippines?

Have safe strip and God Bless you 🙂

  3. Hi Joe! Quick question: I was looking for a manfrotto tripod but I'd like the plate to be compatible with my peak design camera clip however after some research I realised only "RC2" manfrotto head were compatible. They usually come on a ball head though which I find a bit dodgy. I know you have a ball head tripod do you not think a fluid head is better?
Thanks for your content by the way I really like it!

  4. I stayed at The Funny Lion last month too when I was in Coron, probably the best resort to stay when you're in Coron. Can't wait to visit the Philippines again, awesome vlogs!

  5. Awesome mate! Just spent a few days at the Funny Lion too and about to put up my video from there!
Loving it in Coron, pretty much staying here until we leave Philippines.

  6. Oh my God! You're here in the Philippines <3 Too bad you're already in Coron. 🙁 Been watching some of you're videos and I always admire your work. I started to edit videos for about year now and your videos are my inspiration. More power! 😘

  7. Hi Joe, nice videos. What is internet like in general in Coron/Palawan?

  8. Hi Joe I grew up in Panay, island close to Boracay. Never been to Palawan, my city, Iloilo is a little more developed than Palawan but yeah nature there is awesome. We similar island hopping in my place and I guess pretty much all over our country. Thanks for visiting the country. I'll try to see Palawan next time. Coron and El Nido I never heared before until you guys ( tourist) made it famous. There are also caves in small islands between Guimaras and Iloilo and it amazed me of some anima Fossils on top of the roof. Have you seen it in Coron? It made me wonder of that theory that Philippines is a part of Lemuria, the lost continent in the Pacific.

  9. Joe! please make a video montage of your visit in the philippines just like you did in tokyo, paris, hong kong, florida and london. damn your videos gives me chills! great stuff!
