The 31st temple on the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage route is Chikurinji Temple in Kochi Prefecture. There is a lovely burgundy five-story pagoda and plenty of greenery. Many visitors come to simply relax in its peaceful atmosphere. And isn’t that Buddha statue with a knitted hat and shawl just adorable?
