Do you know which aquarium has the largest variety of jellyfish on display? 🐟🎌
Kamo Aquarium may seem unassuming at first. It is a 40-minute bus ride from Tsuruoka Station in Yamagata Prefecture, situated along the coast in a remote spot. But don’t judge this book by its cover yet! Kamo Aquarium has over 60 species of jellyfish, all in visually stunning displays. Not many other aquariums can boast similar! The tranquil floating jellyfish are sure to give off an otherworldly, yet still relaxing vibe to people of all ages.
Oh, and if you were curious what jellyfish taste like… Well, they’re on the menu here as well!
