Riding into spring through a cherry blossom tunnel! 🌸
Uranosaki Station in Imari City in Saga Prefecture is known as a sakura train station. The Somei Yoshino cherry blossom trees were planted when the station opened in 1930 and have been delighting visitors throughout sakura season ever since. There are around 90 trees on display. The big debate is whether to watch the train from the station or be on the train to enjoy the popular spot. 🚂
FUN FACT: The station holds a Sakura Station Festival during during full bloom (typically in late March).
