A wooden pole called as Babo by Apatani community has a significant role in Myoko the festival of friendship of Apatani. It is a symbol of warm welcome. It is erected prior to one or two week before Myko festival begins. This ceremony is also a preparatory part of Myoko festival. It is erected only in host village (s).
