“We had a good day today. I wasn’t surprised by the lap I did after that first sector. The first sector isn’t always my best, and I took it easy because I was a bit scared of Turn 2 with the cold front tyre. But after that I was okay. It was nice to do that lap. I haven’t pushed and done a lap like that all year, so it was about time to try and do one – and I did. ”
