Have you ever seen this gateway to nature’s wonders? 🏞️🙌🌞
These majestic Torii Gates stand at the entrance to the highest alpine lake in Japan, Lake Ni-no-ike, located 2,905 meters (9,530 feet) above sea level on Mt. Ontake, Nagano Prefecture. The mountain has several other crater lakes and invigorating hikes for intrepid travelers.
*Please note that the 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) area around the crater is restricted from access, and any visitor will need to refer to signs posted nearby.
Thank you, @t_tetsuji for hiking up to the top!
