Adventure time!
We rented a car early in the morning and drove all the way to Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchiko!
We wanted to skip the highway and venture ourselves through the small mountain roads. Turned out to be an amazing choice as we drove literally through the mountains on epic zigzagging roads.
Mt Fuji is easily accessible by a 2-3h bus ride from Tokyo. But in all honesty, having the liberty of driving around this majestic and iconic mountain makes the trip worth it just by that!
