August 10th marks the annual Mountain Day in Japan this year, which gives thanks to the beautiful mountains around us. To commemorate this day, here is an amazing view from Mt. Daisen in Tottori Prefecture. The highest peak has an altitude of 1,709 meters (5,607 feet) above the sea level, making it the highest in the Chugoku Region!
