Venus GP was a custom looping roller coaster from Maurer Rides that operated at the (now defunct) Space World in Japan from 1996 to 2017. Featuring a Space Shuttle replica and 3412ft of twisted track with a vertical loop, Venus GP was intense and could easily have been one of the best coasters in the world if only it had been fitted with better restraints. Video was filmed in 2009 and features off-ride footage and some funny moments with the slightly crazy ride operators!
