On the November of 2019, I visited Japan again to experience another momiji hunting. Fine, autumn. Though I was a bit early for the autumn when I traveled to Kyushu, the views are still picturesque. Even though I am not really that good when it comes to photography or videography, the videos and photos still turned out beautiful. Probably because the place is just beautiful.
I arrived in Fukuoka airport around 8pm and immediately tried to look at the train station map to find my way to Hakata station. Again, I struggled looking for my hotel. Once I arrived, I immediately left again the hotel and looked for dinner, my first meal in Kyushu. I found a shop that was still open so there I went. I had a ramen meal set. And boy was I so full. Then I walked around the river located at the center of the city. How cool is that? But then I got tired and had to wake up early on the next day to travel to Nagasaki via train and bus. I woke up early and was on a hurry walking to the train station to ride the first train to Isahaya. Then once I arrived, I took the bus to Unzen Onsen. And that’s where I climbed the Fugendake and saw personally the beauty of hell. From Nagasaki, I traveled to Kumamoto via ferry then rode a bus to Takachiho then took a bus again to Takamori and another bus to Kumamoto. From Kumamoto, I took a shinkansen back to Fukuoka and explored the place once again and finally stayed there. From Fukuoka, I just did two quick day trips to Saga and Oita. All those places in just six days. Hopped on all the available public transportation to reach my destination. Walked endlessly with my backpack. Ate hearty meals. Transferred from one hotel to another. Met strangers. Visited the scenic places of Kyushu.
Definitely, my heart and soul is full.
I’ll see you again.
