2025 poster announced!

The Sendai Aoba Festival was revived in its current form in 1985.
There were years when it was canceled or scaled down due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic, but the number of participants and visitors has steadily increased, and now it is loved not only by Sendai residents but also by people in Tohoku and all over Japan.

Our next goal is to become the “World Aoba Festival”!
