If You’re Anxious About Visiting Nikko, Watch This First 🇯🇵

Nikko is approximately 2 hours away from Tokyo by train, making it perfect for day trips or an overnight stay when Tokyo is getting to be a bit too much – but is it as relaxing as it looks? The UNESCO World Heritage site is popular with both internal and international tourists alike, meaning it can get incredibly busy and give the city a feeling of over tourism quite easily! But once you look passed the crowds, Nikko is a beautiful city filled gorgeous temples and shrines, surrounded wonderfully by nature (especially in autumn!) making it a must visit stop on your Japan travel itinerary!

  1. Considering it was one of our few rainy days on the trip, I was surprised there was still so many people there that day. Also that footage at Toshogu Shrine came out amazing, probably the best footage we've had on the channel, love it.
