Welcome back to Japan and our final day in Kyoto! We’ve ticked off a good amount of the top things to do in Kyoto now and wanted to share some thoughts on the more popular spots.

Today we’re starting at Fushimi Inari shrine, arguably the most recognisable image of Kyoto? One of the most well known in Japan? It’s near the top of everyone’s things to see in Kyoto, which comes with some challenges.

Then it’s to Arashiyama – a beautiful and green spot for some fresh air! Arashiyama has the bamboo forest, Tenryuji Temple, the Arashiyama monkey park and more all within walking distance – it’s ideal to explore!
