This February, I took a trip to Mie Prefecture, on the eastern side of the Kansai region. Mie is the home of Ise City, known as the “Holy City” of Shinto.

I’ll take you around the Iseshi Station area, Geku (Outer shrine), Naiku (Outer shrine) and Oharaimachi shopping street.
