Because so many of you asked on a post a while back, my Instagram can be found on my Reddit profile.

I take you with me on my guided photography tours through Japan that happen bi-annually in fall and spring. Goal is to make one post every week with a photography day. 😊 Hope you‘ll enjoy.

In the afternoon, we arrived in Takayama and explored the historic Sanmachi district. The narrow streets, lined with beautifully preserved wooden merchant houses, transported us back to the Edo period. As night fell, the district took on a magical atmosphere, with lanterns casting a warm glow over the quiet streets and the iconic red arc of Nakabashi Bridge. Capturing Takayama both in daylight and under lantern light revealed its timeless beauty in two enchanting forms.
