kyoto vlog | Exploring Nishiki Market, Fushimi Inari and Nara

Planning a trip to Japan? Come with us as we make spend our last full day in Kyoto and make our way to the incredible city of Nara. Today we’re exploring Nishiki Market and peruse some unique shops while also stopping for sashimi along the way. This is another travel vlog where we find some special Snoopy treats and do some cafe hopping to get through the day. We weren’t planning on visiting Fushimi Inari because of the crowds, but on our way out of Kyoto we decide to hit up Vermillion Cafe and then hike the trek up as far as we can.

In Nara, we check in to the infamous Shisui Hotel, a luxury Marriott hotel that used to be the governor of Nara’s residence and where they signed the ratification of the US/Japan Treaty of San Francisco. We explore the amazing city of Nara and eat some delicious traditional Japanese food along the way.
