Shirakawa-go, a World Heritage Site in the midst of a heavy snowfall

Today, we came to the World Heritage Site of Shirakawa-go.
Despite the arrival of the strongest cold wave of the season and heavy snowfall, we walked from one end of Shirakawa-go to the other.

There were some problems with the highway being closed, so I was worried about whether we would be able to get to Shirakawa-go, but we were able to enjoy our sightseeing trip without any problems.

    Thank you for this lovely wintery video of the Shirakawa -go Heritage site ,could not imagine the u k coping with that amount of snow today ,the last time i saw snow that depth was 1963 ,your camera did a great job despite the heavy snowfall.
