I’ve also been straight up told at a restaurant that ordering an appetizer, entree, and dessert wasn’t enough food…..I’ve honestly stopped going to restaurants outside of celebrations. I don’t mind tipping. I just hate the aggressive energy surrounding it.
You can’t order what you want because of tipping? More like if you dine out in the States and don’t tip you’re rightfully considered low class.. whereas in Japan it’s accepted behaviour.
