Thank you for being here 🙂 In this video, I visited Uchiko-town in ehime prefecture, the 5th prefecture out of my travel through all the 47 prefectures in Japan 🇯🇵
Known as a city of hot springs, castle, and literature, Matsuyama was explored over three days – first the Dogo Onsen area, then Matsuyama Castle area, and on the third day, the area around Matsuyama-shi Station. In this area, I visited the Botchan Train Museum and Shikido Temple. The Matsuyama-shi Station, which appears more developed than JR Matsuyama Station, played a significant role in Matsuyama’s development. I learned about the station’s history, railway culture, and the deep friendship between haiku master Masaoka Shiki and Natsume Soseki. I also visited the Museum of Art, Ehime, which showcases works by creators connected to Ehime Prefecture, and ended the day with a refreshing bath at Asuka no Yu in Dogo. Next time, I’ll explore the islands of Ehime.
Who am I?

Nicely done Roku. Are you still traveling using your trike? You have stopped including some video of you driving it to your destinations. Anyway, very educational. Thank you. Safe travels.
