Tour of £900 p/m Airbnb in Japan + How I Get Good Apartments
I’ve lived out of Airbnbs for a year now, and I recently came to Japan, so here’s a review and tour of my first Airbnb in Namba, Osaka.
I got it at a decent price using the month discount feature on the Airbnb platform, and it’s been great, apart from a slightly loud fridge which I soon fixed! I show you how easy it was to dispose of my rubbish too.
I also take you through my method and criteria for finding cheap but good apartments on their site, especially in Japan. Japanese Airbnbs are a bit more expensive than a lot of other countries, but luckily the yen is weak at the moment so food and other things are relatively cheap. This does mean that Japan is busy with tourists at the moment, so booking well in advance will give you the best options.

Nice review. Useful as I'll be in Japan at some point next year. Also, more on rural Japan / less city life? Like if you wanted to get away from city life? I'll research but the idea's just came to mind. I just found your arriving in Japan vod. Ill look through your others 👍
