UPDATED Packing Tips for Your First Trip to Japan 2025 | Don’t Make the Same Mistakes!

Don’t Being this to Japan! In this video, I will show you some packing tips for traveling to Japan in 2025. Some of you may be new to Japan or to international travel altogether. While a passport is essential for international travel, there are a few other things you need to prepare. I personally love to travel abroad and plan at least one trip every year. This year, I went to Mongolia, and I am planning to visit Egypt soon. Based on my experiences so far, I would like to introduce three categories of items: items that you need to bring when traveling to Japan, items that you do not need to bring, and items that are prohibited or restricted from being brought. I hope this will be helpful to you as you plan your trip to Japan.

  1. Every hotel I've ever been to in Japan had a bunch of vending machines on site… except one in Hakone 😭. Since I couldn't buy any bottles of water when I woke up I started my day with a non-alcoholic beer! I learned my lesson the fun way lol

  2. Pharmacies were great for the bath items I avoided carrying in my luggage. Something I found interesting was when I went bouldering and needed skin cream, but at the pharmacy I asked for lotion. They had no idea what I was talking about. I eventually figured it out. 😂
