On the buses. Uppermill (Saddleworth)
On this video I am hopping on the bus for a short journey to Uppermill the capital of Saddleworth. This village has a lot to offer and is an ideal place to visit for food, drink and walks. Steeped in history originally famous for the cotton mills in the industrial revolution, many of which can be seen in the village. I visited the Kobe Café for a pot of tea.

The bridge is over the River Tame, not the canal (the canal bridge is further up the street). And the stone is Yorkshire Gritstone, not sandstone. But I'm being picky – good video.
