canned bamboo shoots require cooking apparently

tell my why I bought this can of bamboo shoots thinking they were already cooked just to come home and it literally says "previa cottura" which means I have to cook them before eating. uhg it's literally my first time buying bamboo to eat at home, I feel so dumb that I didn't read it before while I was in the suoermarket. how do you cook bamboo shoots guys?
