This is a sad day for this lovely family. That evil lady has the concentrated evil of ten people in her twisted mind. She seems to derive some twisted satisfaction in causing suffering to others. However, The couple have behaved in a civil manner and vacated the hut. Now I have a few suggestions: Use the toilet area for storage and cooking while the bathroom floor dries. Store some items not immediately needed in the car to keep it dry. Use some of the materials salvaged from the demolished house to rig a temporary roof over part of the uncompleted house. There are beams and pallets lying around. This at least will be not worse than the hut. That makeshift door to the hut will be handy to seal off one end of the uncompleted porch against the wind. That area can also be used for cooking, washing or whatever. I really hope that the rain will stay away for a few more days so they can get kind of settled in this difficult time. Al needs to work, but he is needed more now at home where the evil minded mother in law lurks and may cause more trauma at any time. Bless you Mr operator for assisting.
