Las Vegas Quick Trip: ParkMGM, 888 Japanese AYCE, Museum of Illusions, LaLa Noodle, Alien Jerky

We went to Las Vegas on a whim! I was at work and saw that the temperatures at home will be 105° F, and at the same time, I got an email from MGM Rewards and they’re offering me 2 free nights, $50 room credit, and $10 Free Play! So we decided, if it’s going to be hot, might as well do it in Las Vegas!

We went to Vegas after my work. We stopped by McDonald’s, Terrible’s Herbst, then ended up at ParkMGM to claim our 2 free rooms. PengTruce was there! We didn’t plan it, but she happened to be there. I stopped by the Bellagio Conservatory at like 2am to try to get video of it with no people – there were still a good amount of people.

The next day, our only full day, we went to 888 Japanese AYCE. This has become one of our favorite spots to eat now. It’s so good! PengTruce joined us for the day. After we ate, we quickly got ready for the Museum of Illusions. That was a fun time! Then we went to Haus of Gaga Las Vegas at ParkMGM while we were waiting for our time slot for dinner at LaLa Noodle. Dessert was at the Hello Kitty Cafe because BabyTruce always wants something from there.

The nest morning, we decided to head home already once we woke up, just to beat the traffic. There wasn’t any. We got McDonald’s at Primm – which is so empty. There were like 6 cars in the parking lot of the hotel/casino. Then we went to Alien Jerky to go to the restroom and see if we would buy any jerky. They are building a flying saucer hotel! The last stop on our trip was the Barstow Station McDonalds where they converted old trains into the dining area of the McDo. Then we headed home to the 106° F weather. But on the way home, there was a thunderstorm. It even started raining a little.
