If it’s not your first time traveling to Kyoto and Nara, Japan, you might want to check out Uji City, Japan’s Matcha City, in one day. Uji is on the border of Kyoto & Nara so you can make this part of your itinerary on your second visit to Japan. I started my day at the shopping and food alley Byodoin Omotesando, where you can buy anything tea-related. I also went to Byodoin Temple, Hoshokan Museum, Taihoan municipal teahouse, and Uji Park. I strolled along Uji Riverside and crossed one of the oldest bridges in Japan, the Uji Bridge. I also have food recommendations in this vlog.
