This hotel in Fukuoka, Japan is a steal
Japan’s accommodation booking system isn’t the same as other places, and we find that some places only open reservations a certain period in advance (e.g. 12 months, 6 months, sometimes even 3 months!) The hotels also constantly have periodic discounts, to encourage domestic tourists to book in trips, which means that a few months out from your trip there may be availabilities for hotels that you didn’t see before, or amazing prices for hotels that are normally much more expensive!
We recommend booking a place with free cancellation, and then checking periodically to see if there are any better deals. You never know what will come up!
