  1. After all of your hard slog, researching, filming, editing, why is it so hard for more viewers to hit that Like? Unbelievable, ungrateful.
Thank you both. Awesome viewing. Great job. Living vicariously through you, as I'll never get there 😊

  2. be careful with a camera in this area, most of those guys are drug dealers hence why they dont want to be on camera..

  3. The Shinjuku projection mapping project is expected to cost 4.8 billion yen over two years.😅

  4. Golden Gai, Omoide yokocho, Ameyoko, and pachinko parlors in front of train stations only in Tokyo are remnants of Korean towns where Koreans occupied land and settled without permission after the US military made Japan ungovernable after the war (World War II).
Of course, the same decline occurred across the country.

It is similar to the gypsy problem in Europe.
They don't pay taxes. They don't fulfill their social obligations. However, they cannot be expelled and have become a problem in the Japanese underworld.

Old towns from the Edo period in Japan are scattered all over the local country, such as in Takayama, Kanazawa, Hagino, Onomichi, and Kawagoe, and so on, but there are no towns as disorderly as Golden Gai.

At that time, the bushi class, known as samurai, controlled the towns and the laws, and they could not develop the towns as they pleased, and the towns were beautifully landscaped with a rational sewer system. The sewage was used as fertilizer for the surrounding rice fields. Most of the water supply was well water, but Edo had a water supply line from Kanda to Edo Castle, and a water moat over 30 km long was built from the outskirts of Tokyo to supply the city of Edo.

    Be advised from Japanese history.

  5. Hey you two, the place looks mad in a good way, what a crack up that guy are you CRAZY sorry but what a prat!, looks a nice destination japan, anyway keep up with the vid's, excellent insight, arigatu to you both, cheers!

  6. I'm an oldie, so it screams "extortion and drink spiking" 🍸 🤪 area to me. Dont stray too far from each other 😊😅😊

  8. Most of today's yakuzas are of Korean origin. There were yakuza in the Edo period, too, but they were known as people who had mastered the way of chivalry, and they are different from today's yakuzas. In the Edo period, there was a famous man of great integrity called Jirocho of Shimizu in current Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
There are many yakuzas in Kabuki-cho in Shinjuku.

  9. Use your hands. 🙄 You insulted the itamae (sushi chaf). Learning to use chopsticks is all over YouTube.

  11. You offended everyone there.
You have no clue how to eat sushi.
You go to Japan and can not use chopsticks?
    WOW

  12. Advise to Glen: there's a place to be friendly and an area not to be. Please don't put Madeline in trouble. Just keep walking bruv!

  13. Where are people going? it is a city of 30 million people. You are seeing .01% of them. They are just living their day to day lives.

  14. Hello, welcome to Japan
Sushi is generally eaten with your hands, not with chopsticks.👍🏻 You put soy sauce on the ingredients, not the rice😊

  15. They don't care about people's privacy, they keep the camera rolling all the time and get in trouble for it.

Look around you, you are the only ones who keep the camera up and constantly taking pictures of the people around you.

If you go to another country, look around and see if you are the only ones floating around. Then make sure. Learn the rules of that country.

  16. Glen you gotta do a better job protecting Mado. Don't just stand there with a ridiculous smile as some dark looking guy is confronting her. Either ignore him and walk away or stand up to him to intimidate him. But don't just smile at him like he is your friend. You are a friendly guy which is a good thing; but this isn't the Philippines where people don't like confrontations. Plus those guys in pulling people in the stores aren't even Japanese. They are staying there illegally and shouldn't be there in the first place anyway.

  17. Observation. Not fat people and I haven't seen any wheel chairs or crutches(where are disabled and injured people? You dont see any) beautifull country and people though.

  18. Avoid filming Peoples faces you must blur this Peoples faces,People in the train and other crowded places just focus the camera on your face.Check your video some Peoples avoiding your camera and peoples faces are angry give them Privacy. You might get trouble.Learn the Countries Rule before exploring.

  19. 32:49 this area known run by Kenya guy becarful walking here they trying to exploit the Japanese culture for their benefit and no from what I herd the have noo affiliation with they yakuza if any one think that..
