Back in the early 90s we spent a lot of time in Roppongi. Gas Panick when it was a hole in the wall, Henrys of Africa, The Charleston, Hard Rock Cafe, Deja Vu. Loved it there.

You have to be really careful about going into these kinds of places. You don't find out how much they are charging you until you try to leave. Then, somehow, you owe them $350 dollars for one drink and you were only there for 15 minutes. Guess what? It's legal and the police won't help you.
They're probably on first name basis with the guys extorting you.
Ill definitely be going there when I visit Japan.
