  1. yes i love pablo branching out big time. your production, vibe etc is amazing so make it big! mark wiens style+

  2. I knew you grew up in the US, seeing you being excited. Such a waste, if you did not make a hidden gem or food spots video in New York. You are just being resourceful ❤

  3. Loooove John’s in “Gren’ich” Village (how to pronounce) 😊 We brought a cousin there; as a local we were surprised that she’d never been. Like what?! Can’t go wrong with the food trucks. That’s how to lunch al fresco in Midtown 🎉 You found some gems!

  4. I don't see why not, I mean It doesn't hurt to feature food from different countries and places! It just makes your channel grow bigger!
And besides, if your there for a vacation, why not mix business with pleasure, right? It's like hitting two birds with one stone!

  5. You do a great job at showcasing small businesses, maybe small businesses in New York? Or the rest of the US.

  6. It's a simple thing, and it's not flashy, but you gotta find a deli. Not one of those touristy ones, like a mom and pop deli. Go there during breakfast and get yourself a breakfast sandwich with Egg, sausage or bacon, and cheese on a hard roll. THOSE are to die for. If you want some sauce, put some Franks on it.

  7. Love the video!! NYC my favorite city outside of Japan. I hope to see more videos of you traveling around the world.

  8. As cool as NY is….just way too expensive. 2 days in NYC is a week in japan. I probably couldnt even do 3 meals a day in NYC without breaking the bank for a family of 4, let alone a couple. In tokyo you can eat 3 times a day plus street food and your still within budget

  9. For me, your channel is you, your personality, how respectful and kind you are to business owners and guests. I would watch you visit anything anywhere. Looking forward to some new stuff! ❤️

  10. This is actually a really good food list. most youtubers and even television shows miss so hard with these lists. you can tell you did your homework or had a New Yorker actually show you around. Thanks man, god bless your family. love seeing this channel grow. gang gang.

  11. Those are some great spots you've visited in New York, but it's a bit unfortunate that you missed out on exploring some of the lesser-known, non-tourist areas where the real local flavors come to life. In neighborhoods like Spanish Harlem and parts of the Bronx, you'd have encountered authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, where the air is filled with the mouthwatering aromas of pernil (roast pork), mofongo (fried plantains mashed with garlic and pork cracklings), and pasteles (a traditional dish similar to tamales but made with green bananas and yautía instead of corn).

Spanish Harlem, in particular, is a treasure trove of Puerto Rican flavors, with family-owned restaurants and food trucks serving dishes that are both comforting and bursting with flavor. If you had ventured here, you could have experienced how Puerto Rican food balances savory and sweet, using ingredients like plantains, coconut, rice, beans, and different meats in ways that bring a depth of flavor to each bite.

And when it comes to Caribbean cuisine, especially Jamaican food, Queens is a must-visit, especially Jamaica, Queens. The neighborhood has a rich Jamaican community, and the food reflects that vibrancy. You’d find jerk chicken that’s perfectly spiced, curried goat that melts in your mouth, and patties—those flaky pastry pockets filled with seasoned beef or chicken—that are a staple of Jamaican street food. The use of ingredients like scotch bonnet peppers, pimento, thyme, and allspice create a complexity in dishes that is truly unique.

Jamaican cuisine isn’t just about the heat; it’s also about comfort food like ackee and saltfish (the national dish), oxtail stewed until tender, and hearty rice and peas cooked in coconut milk. The balance of spices and natural flavors is a hallmark of the Caribbean.

And let’s not forget about soul food down in Harlem! The soul food experience there is legendary, with iconic dishes like fried chicken, collard greens, black-eyed peas, and macaroni and cheese. These meals are deeply rooted in the African American history of the South, brought to New York during the Great Migration. Each bite of soul food is rich with tradition—cornbread with just the right amount of sweetness, candied yams that are soft and caramelized, and barbecue ribs that fall off the bone. Harlem is where you’d really experience the history and soul of African American cooking. It’s not just about the food but also the hospitality, where many places serve you as if you were family, ensuring you leave full and satisfied.

Each of these neighborhoods—Spanish Harlem, Jamaica, Queens, and Harlem—offers a unique and rich culinary journey that speaks to the cultural diversity and history of the people who live there. By visiting these local gems, you would’ve experienced New York’s incredible culinary scene beyond just the tourist spots, where the real heart and soul of the city lie in every plate served. very long sorry

  12. Welcome to ny. I think it was super adorable how you said the word Greenwich wrong. Love it. Gave me a chuckle. I would have had your family over for dinner if I knew you were coming bro!!!!

  13. Welcome to ny. I think it was super adorable how you said the word Greenwich wrong. Love it. Gave me a chuckle. I would have had your family over for dinner if I knew you were coming bro!!!!

  14. Thank you for sharing. EVERYTHING looks SO amazing! When I was in Japan I missed eating beef all the time.

  15. NYC pizza is 💩they try and claim they came up with the thin crust that you have to fold, but they didn't come up with anything for any pizza. Lunchables Pizza is just as good

  16. OMG! What are you doing? This entire video is wrong. It’s actually insulting. No self respecting native would ever go to those tourist traps. You paid 300% of what normal people do here. God only knows how much you paid for the hotel. These are by far not the “best” NY food spots. You had no actual New Yorkers to guide you through this mess of a video, it’s pretty obvious. What made you think this was okay? Don’t get me wrong, your video of the life of the guy recycling appliances was great, but here? You’re just out of your league here. Don’t do this again. Do it somewhere else. It’s embarrassing. John’s was the best thing and you couldn’t even get the best pizza they specialize in. And you overpaid. And you show off how much you don’t know about pizza. There’s great pizzerias in Tokyo that actually make fantastic New York style slices, but no, you had to do this. You went to some bs place to eat a 30$ hamburger in an alleyway? And you went to the wrong street vendor to order an PORK and lamb dish? Dude do you know what halal is? Pork isn’t on the menu brother. So very wrong.. And 5.75$ for a taco? That’s just completely tourist trap dementia. I hope you enjoyed yourself, but you got ripped off every which way. Poor choices all along the way. I’m not sure why you thought this would be okay, but dude, this is not New York cuisine at all. It’s just you stepping out of you hotel room to experience New York land. For god’s sake you can’t even pronounce Greenwich village. Green-which? Village? OMG! Stick to your Japan videos. Just do that dumb tourist shit and keep it to yourself. Still. Im glad you had a good time.

  17. It's fun to see videos that are different from what you normally upload, for example this New York video, but personally for me, your channel should stay the way it is – most of the content in or about Japan. That's why the majority subscribed in the first place

  18. Kumusta kabayan, welcome to NY! See if you can go to Tadhana — Bon Appetit's best new restaurant. It's Filipino food for the Filipino in you.

  19. Aloha from Hawaii! I would like to see you in other countries and states, since we only like to go to Japan.
